A few options exist for sharing media with a class.
The instructor can request streaming video access for their BlackBoard class via the NJVid system. To initiate this process, the instructor must complete a Streaming Video Request Form. This form must be submitted every semester that the film is used in their BlackBoard course.
If the DVD or VHS recording is already owned by the library, please allow up to 2 weeks for request processing.
If the DVD or VHS recording is not owned by the library, it must first be ordered, received, and cataloged. Please allow 1 month for request processing.
Once the request is finished processing, the instructor will receive an email containing instructions for embedding the video player into their BlackBoard course.
Instructors may also place video materials on course reserve, just as they would print material. The media will be housed at the Circulation Desk on the main level of the library.
