Electronic databases, journals and books plus other subscription resources are only accessible by current students, faculty, and staff of the university. A courtesy borrowing card does not allow for remote access of the online resources/databases.
However, all open access journals and ebooks are available using the Advanced Search function of the library's Search all/Summon tool. Simply select the "Open Access items only" filter from the "Limit To" menu before searching.
Online resources are accessible within the library. We have multiple computers available for public use (designated by a pink sign on the monitor).
An alternate option for access to electronic resources would be JerseyClicks. These high quality databases offered by the New Jersey State Library cover subjects such as Health, History, Business, Education, Science, Current Events, Literature, and Popular Fiction, as well as information in Spanish.
Another publicly accessible option is the Directory of Open Access Journals. This resource contains over 10,000 open access journals covering areas of science, technology, medicine, social science, and the humanities.
