To create a hold request for books:
Placing a hold on a book requires a current/active library account.
- Sign into your FlashFind library account (link in the upper right of the webpage).
- Locate the item in FlashFind. (Only circulating items can by requested)
- Click the "Place a Request/Hold" link for that item (see image below).
If the item is located at another NJ university, click the university name to display the request button.
When an item with a hold is returned to the library, the hold is activated and the item is held at the Circulation Desk for pickup for 1 week. You will receive an email that the item is ready.
If you request a hold for an item that is on the shelf, you will receive an email when your request has been processed. You will then be prompted to schedule an appointment online to pick up your material. See: https://stockton.libanswers.com/faq/322082
