When you've borrowed a book from our library collection and keep it beyond the due date, the book's status becomes "Overdue." This status remains in effect for 21 days.

After 21 days, the book's status changes to "Lost." When this change occurs:

  1. Your library account is billed for the replacement cost of the book ($45 per book).
  2. A hold is placed on your Banner account, preventing you from registering for classes and graduating.

If the book is returned in good condition at any point during this process, all fees are waived and any holds are removed.

For questions regarding returning or replacing an overdue item, please contact the library's Circulation Desk at 609-652-4346.
